Who it is for
Small business owners and operations leads in Lansing and Grand Rapids using off-the-shelf AI tools, with questions about connected accounts, file access, permissions or staff practices. Remote guided delivery is included.
What we review
One business workflow, up to three named AI tools, up to two connected business systems and two representative user roles. We also discuss information copied or pasted into the tools. You operate the systems during a 60–90 minute screen-share review. We inspect available settings and walk through one safe, synthetic scenario: who notices a mistake, who can pause the workflow and how work continues.
What you receive
A two-page action plan with priorities, owners and immediate, seven-day and 30-day actions; an access worksheet; draft AI use rules for the reviewed workflow; and a stop/contact checklist. Findings distinguish observed settings, reported practices, unknowns and items that do not apply. A visible setting is not proof that a control works in every situation.
Timing
Delivery within three business days after discovery and receipt of agreed inputs, followed by a 30-minute readout. Includes one factual-correction round requested within five business days. Missing inputs and changed scope are agreed before revising the schedule.
Clear boundaries
This is a point-in-time guided review with no direct system access. It excludes live attack testing, implementation, breach investigation, enterprise-wide discovery and security/compliance certification. It does not promise to find every AI tool or establish that no data has been accessed.
Next step
Bring one AI-enabled workflow. Email begin@deepwelllabs.com with subject AI Exposure & Control Diagnostic. Send tool names and a short workflow description. Do not send passwords, customer files or logs.
The diagnostic is optional. It is not a prerequisite for the External AI & Bot Exposure Audit and is not automatically credited toward another service.
